Eva in Texarkana TX Dachshund Mix Texarkana, TX

Eva is a female tricolor dachshund mix. She is 2-4 years old and she weighs about 19 pounds. Eva is recently spayed and vaccinated including rabies. She is heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm preventive. Eva is ready for adoption.

Eva is Valentine #12 from our group rescued on Valentine’s Day, all pulled from the same overcrowded home. She was one of the few with a name disclosed on the shelter paperwork. Eva is people and dog friendly. She loves cuddles and belly rubs. She is crate trained and has done very well with potty habits. She is not trained to walk on a leash. Eva is active and playful. She enjoys her friends for playing chase or tug. We know Eva would like someone to play with, dog or human, and would probably adapt to whatever activity level or home and family set up given some time to acclimate.

A completed adoption application and, upon approval, an adoption contract is required. Jeff Tarpley Rescue welcomes applications from homeowners, renters, and condo or apartment dwellers. At a minimum, a phone interview will be conducted and a vet reference checked before the applicant may meet their preferred pet.

We adopt primarily in the 4 states of the ArkLaTexOma. Applicants willing to travel to Texarkana will also be considered with additional requirements to qualify as approved.
