Estrella Naggins Shih Tzu Thompson's Station, TN

Estrella is an approximatley 10 year old shih tzu. She is 11 pounds in weight. This girl....little old lady Estrella.....her foster parents have spoiled her rotten!!! She has finally completed all of her procedures (eye removal, spay, dental) and today had her stitches removed from a little toe injury and she is ready! She is both blind and deaf but gets along just fine with very little extra other than remaining on leash when outside. Estrella is flat out a lap dog. Like, it's just who she is at this point in her life!and there's no turning back!! She is very well mannered and easy going. She does fine with other dogs (though with her blindness, if they rush her face she'a going to tell them to back off), but does not need one. She will sleep with the other dogs she is around, but does not play or engage in active ways. I mean, I guess we could say Estrella is a lazy dog if we were being honest!!! She is a snuggle bug and just wants her humans. Estrella does not appear interested in dogs or cats and is fine if they want to sleep around her, but she doesn’t want to play with them. She is a princess and loves sleeping in the bed with her human. She is potty trained if the human takes her out on a regular basis. She will sleep on a dog bed and will whine to let you know she has woken up. She eats her food well and loves treats. She loves to have her hair brushed and loves her clothes. She just want a human to do her bidding. She is the sweetest old lady who just wants to hang out with you.

Estrella Naggins is up to date on shots and preventatives and is microchipped. Her adoption fee is any donation you feel appropriate due to her senior status. Our adoption fee is set to a level to make adoptions happen. They do not cover our costs. Thank you for your generosity and interest in our dogs!

All dogs adopted locally through SGDR receive a free six-week session of obedience classes and a lifetime of behavior support through our Project REWARD program with trainer Ashley Reum.
