You must be 25 yrs of age or older to adopt through us. We are in the Rochester NY area and adopt dogs out to area residents.

Must live in the Rochester NY area (within 1/2 hr) and a physically fenced in yard is required.

Ester is a 2 yr old girl who weighs approx 28 lbs. We are not sure her mix, were told Corgi/shep mix when she came to us but really don't know. The curled tail and blue eyes don't match those breeds. Esther is a loving and spunky young girl. She is a recent momma, joining us in Rochester with her 6 adorable pups who are now old enough and also looking for homes.
She’s great with other dogs and, while she can be a bit cautious around new faces, is quick to warm up and friendly with all people. She has not been around a cat so they are unknown. Esther’s dream life would be daily exercise or playtime with a companion and snuggling next to you all day. For such a small girl, she sure can jump! She loves to run around in the backyard and play with her foster sister but is able to jump the 4’ fence and needs to be watched (she comes back when called)! She’s house trained and does well on a leash but will need a family who is willing to work with her to make her more comfortable on leash.
Esther has not been spayed yet but can go to her furever home under a special contract. You would be required to get her to our clinic once we are given a spay date and then pick up from the rescue and complete the official adoption papers at that time.

All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.
