MEET ESPRESSO!

Full-bodied, bold, and sweet - the perfect way to describe Espresso! Espresso is an 8 year old Pittie who was abandoned in a home after her former owner moved out. Luckily, a nice police officer stumbled upon her, gave her a ride to the shelter and reached out to City of Elderly Love for help!

When Espresso was brought to the shelter, she was severely overweight and she had severe lick granulomas. Her foster family has helped her shed some very unnecessary weight though she's still working to lose a few and has transformed her into a healthy girl. Espresso is currently in foster care with several other dogs, cats and children! Espresso can be a little anxious in new situations but seems to really enjoy being around other dogs so we think she'd be happiest in a home with other pets. This sweet, goofy girl can't wait to keep your seat warm on the couch but then never give it back. Looking to add a special dog to your family? Perhaps Espresso is your girl!
