8-month-old, 30-pound Shepherd / Corgi mix
House-trained
Crate-trained: Espy sleeps in her crate at night and does better when she has a treat or treat puzzle. She can be quite vocal in her crate still though. Because of her vocal talents, she cannot live an apartment or shared-wall home.
Other Dogs: Espy is full of energy and just keeps going! Espy would do best with another dog who can handle her exuberant play style!
Cats: Recommending home without cats.
Kids: Espy would do well in a home with kids.
Training: She knows sit and is working on other basic commands. She will need basic training classes as she is still exhibiting puppy behaviors like mouthing and jumping up on people when excited. She is incredibly treat-motivated, so training has been going well!
Espy is a sweet and spunky pup who loves people! She loves toys, watching the neighborhood out the window or from the fenced yard, and snuggling. Espy would love to have someone home more often than not, and days filled with mental and physical exercise. She is an amazing girl looking to be loved!
Her adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, & Bordetella), HW and flea/tick preventative, and microchip implant and registration.
There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best guess.
Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.
Due to post-adoption services provided, it is Pet Haven's policy to only place dogs into homes within a 75-mile radius of the Minneapolis, MN city center.
