Ernie's Story

Ernie came to us after his human suddenly passed away. Ernie had been with his human since he was a puppy and was a loyal, well-loved companion, and is looking for the same bond in his forever home.

Ernie is a cautious guy who takes his time to warm up to new people and situations, but once he does, he shines! Ernie has the cutest “march” on walks, combined with his adorable ears that take flight in the wind, that is sure to capture your heart. At 8-years-young, Ernie loves to play ball and with his squeaker toys. Ernie is an easy companion, treat-motivated and does well in the car. As a dutiful watchdog, he loves to spend his days perched, keeping a watchful eye on his homestead.

Ernie is a true catch, and on top of all of that, he is good with other dogs and even kids! Ernie would make a great addition to almost any home.
