Enzo Black Labrador Retriever & Plott Hound Mix Glocester, RI

Hello Everyone, please meet Enzo! Enzo is a black lab/plott mix and is about a year and three months old.
Enzo is an amazing, loveable and goofy dog. He loves going on walks but he does need some more leash training. He enjoys playing with his little tennis ball in the house along with his many other toys! He has his spurts of energy and will have the zoomies.

I think Enzo would do great in a house that has a fenced in backyard but will need to still be closely watched as he likes to eat things of great interest.

I am currently teaching him the command of “leave it”. He already knows “sit, down, place and paw”. Enzo is not picky and will eat any treat you give him, he specifically likes peanut butter and blueberries along with some cookies! When it comes to lounging time, Enzo loves to snuggle up with you and a soft blanket

I believe Enzo would be a great addition to a family with kids and even with other dogs However, even without the kids or other dogs he would still make an amazing addition. Again - having parents who have the patience and can really take the time to help Enzo with a bit of anxiety and building his confidence up is very important. Enzo is really amazing and he deserves the best! We think having another dog around would help SO much as well!


He is for the most part great with people and kids but he will bark at first until he can really get to know you and sniff you out.. He has not been around any cats so I am not sure how he would do with a household that has a cat.
He does fairly well with other dogs but he can be very timid, a proper introduction with any house hold dogs would help.

Enzo was living with another dog previously and had done great with her! Enzo does suffer from separation anxiety so being adopted by parents who have the patience and capability to help him through his separation anxiety is crucial!

He does not prefer to be in a crate when left alone and does better free roaming the house but will need to be puppy proofed as he can get bored.

He is potty trained but will randomly have accidents in the house once in the blue moon (very rare).

We also think a good run around 2-3 times a day will help TREMENDOUSLY with his angst.
He loves to play outside with toys; or other dogs!!!!

If applicable, please remember to notify your veterinarians’ office and personal references that we will be calling to speak to them for a reference - Most Vet’s offices will not speak to us without your consent...

When someone's application is approved, we will HOLD/RESERVE the dog for you- we will make a general appointment for you to come to the rescue facility and meet the pup so that you may make an informed decision.

We do this so that no one else can take the dog until you meet him or her with out being rushed Then , you may decide to move ahead with at the adoption…..


Our adoption fees are $600 …. We accept Cash , personal and Bank checks, Venmo and Paypal !

ALL Dogs and pup cats and kittens are treated and seen by licensed veterinarians :
They are :
Spayed / Neutered, Microchipped, Vaccinated (up to date) De wormed (UTD) treated for ANY zoonotic disease , FeLV and FIV negative On preventions for fleas and ticks.
They must receive and pass the Interstate health certification/ Veterinary Exams by law and are transported utilizing ONLY transport services licensed with the USDA.
