Meet Emmy Lou
Introducing Emmy Lou! She is an adorable 8 year old female tri-colored coonhound that is looking for a loving home. She is initially a little shy and needs a patient owner that will give her a little time to warm up. Once she feels comfortable, she is sweet, gentle and friendly. She walks well on a leash.
Emmy Lou would do best in a home without small children, where she can feel loved and cherished.
The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog or family's needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs.
