This is Emmitt. The happiest abandoned boy you'll meet in Brooksville.
He's pretty lonely these days and the neighbors( me) are trying to take care of him until a home is found, but he is living on his own.
He is 4yrs old, 70lbs, neutered and up to date on shots. He is a bouncy boy, so would love a home with someone who likes to go for runs and can handle a strong, playful dog. His energy may be a bit too much for small children. He likes the female dog next door, but doesn't seem to care for other male dogs.
Emmett listens well and is eager to please. With a mix of bully and lab breeds, he thrives on activity and loves being outdoors, especially running and playing.
He's kennel trained (comes with his own kennel + new blanket). Sleeps best with his kennel covered at night. Leash trained and enjoys going on runs.
Protective instincts: Emmett will alert you to anyone near your home. Despite his guarding behavior, he is gentle and affectionate with his owner.
