Meet Emma Jean

Sometimes the bad things that happen in our lives put us directly on the path to the best! Life didn’t start out well for me, but I know that finding you will be the best part of my life. The name is Emma Jean. I’m a 3 year old, 51 lb, female, Husky mix. I am just trying to figure out what the good life is all about. That said, I have not quite yet mastered house training or crate training, but I am a really smart girl and know that I will have it down soon. I get along with just about anyone, that includes other dogs, cats and even respectful kids. I am still working on getting used to the leash. Right now, I am not a fan, but I am working really hard on it so that I can enjoy walks with my people. I really love walks! I also need a fenced in backyard so I can get all of my zoomies out so apartment life is not for me. As I mentioned previously, I really am a smart girl. I have already learned sit and am learning to lay down, wait and break. I am already a fantastic girl and there are so many amazing things waiting for me in the future. I can not wait to experience them all with you so please fill out an application so that we can get this journey started right away!

*I am currently in the Pups for Parole training program. I will be available for adoption once I graduate in a few weeks, but you can apply for me now! Upon graduation, I will have all the basic training necessary to make a great companion. I will need a family willing to continue my training, I sure don't want to forget all that I'm learning!*

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip! If you're interested in meeting/adopting me, please visit and fill out the form! We do adopt out of state with vet references and video home check. *Adopter is responsible for coming to get the dog and returning the dog if the adoption does not work out*

*Remember, dogs are pack animals. Because of this, Rescue One does not adopt to outdoor-only homes. Pets are family and are not disposable. Please make sure that you are 100% committed to a pet before considering adding one to your home.
