Being a family means you are a part of something very wonderful. It means you will love and be loved for the rest of your life. My name is Emma, a 2-year-old, 56 -pound, American Staffordshire terrier mix and I've had quite the journey to find my forever home!

I've gone from being stray and making it on my own, to learning the ropes of living in a home and being cared for. I've been a wonderful house guest in my foster home. . . . I'm now house, crate and leash trained.

My nature is sweet and loving plus I know commands like sit, stay, come and shake. I would love a home with a six-foot fenced yard and potentially a similar-sized canine sibling. I enjoy doggie daycare, but I can be a bit protective in a home setting, so proper dog-friend intros are necessary.

I get a little nervous in new situations, so my forever family will need to be patient, but I'm smart, playful, and brimming with happiness. So, if you're looking for a loyal companion with a perpetually wagging tail, look no further than Emma - your new best friend awaits!

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip with free lifetime registration!
