Hi my name is Emily. I'm about 1-1/2 years old and 20ish pounds. I came back to live with my foster mom after dynamics changed in what I thought was my forever home. I was originally found as a stray in KY. I'm super sweet and friendly! I love everyone except kids, they scare me making me bark and growl at them. It's likely I was mistreated by them. Since I'm not good with kids I would like another dog as my BFF. I get along with all the dogs here but my favorite is the other beagle girl here. Mom wonders if I know we are the same breed. I love to chase and be chased. I will require a secure fenced in yard attached to the house so I have quick access to going outside. We have a dog door here and I didn't forget how to use it. Since coming back I have used the dog door to do all my business outside. If you don't have one of those we will need to work out a schedule. I love to snuggle with mom!! I would prefer to be on her lap but she say's it's too hot for that. I sleep with mom and whoever else wants to sleep with her. I am crate trained but not sure I need to be. Here in my foster home we are all crated but only when mom goes out.
