Emery Miniature Pinscher Mix Oklahoma City, OK

Meet Emery, an approximately 2.5 month old adorable puppy who became a Misfit when she ended up at the shelter at 4 weeks old with a badly injured leg. This pet is spayed, up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, heart-worm negative, and micro-chipped!

Emery came to Mutt Misfits at 5 weeks old with a horrific injury to her back leg, which ultimately led to amputation. Don’t worry, though, having three legs does not slow this girl down at all! She is all sass and loves to run and play and tell everyone all about her day. She is a small gal, and while we don’t know for sure what her breed is, with her size and coloring we suspect maybe a miniature pinscher mix.

Emery has been through a lot in her short life, but she is officially ready to find her forever family! Emery loves running around in the back yard, playing with her toys and serving as the designated little sister in her foster home. She is small and would do great in just about any family! She hasn’t been around children, but given guidance and supervision, she should do okay even with small children. Emery is doing great with potty training and kennel training! She’s a very smart girl who loves her treats.

To see how far Emery has come in the last month has been amazing to watch. Her personality has blossomed and she’s just a happy, super social puppy! She is in a foster home with dogs of all sizes and ages and cats and does great with everyone. Her favorite foster sibling is an 80 pound pittie mix, but she thinks everyone wants to be her friend. She may take a minute to warm up in new situations, but she will give tail wags and kisses in no time! Any adopter would be lucky to have Emery join their family!
