Meet Emanuel

Hey, hey, hey. Slow down there and take a breather. I can show you how to do that. Step one: stop, look off into the horizon and breathe for a few minutes.

I know just what to do. I'm Emanuel and I am a teacher. I teach people how to live. That is what most of us dogs do, but I'm just a bit older than many shelter dogs, and I've got a bit more experience as a teacher. So I will claim that title. Emanuel, the teacher.

So breathe deep. And take a walk. Whatever is bothering you today is dust. Give it up. You won't even remember the details in 10 months. In 10 years, you won't even remember that it happened. Take a nice slow walk and sniff the weeds. Listen to the birds; they are teachers too. Let the sun fall on your shoulders.
