Eloise (Ellie) Mixed Breed Brownsboro, AL

Eloise, or Ellie for short, is 3 years and is an extremely kind girl. With the most gorgeous brown eyes and when her little nub of a tail wags her whole body wiggles. She also has a slight underbite, which makes her have an adorable, goofy smile. It does seem to prevent her from really chewing up/destroying any toys. Squeaky toys are her favorite! She has done well with her foster family's 3 year old Aussie mix. She is nervous in new situations and needs to go at her own pace but will warm up in time. Once she gets to know you, she follows you everywhere and gives you endless love! Ellie does have some separation anxiety, her foster family is working with her on helping her feel more secure. They have found she does well in a hard-sided kennel. She sleeps in it all night with no issues and stays in it for up to 4 hours a day. Ellie walks well on a leash, but cars and traffic are still pretty scary for her. She loves to sleep on the couch while her foster family watches tv. She has been 100% supervised in a 3 foot tall chain link fence and hasn't offered to jump or dig. She loves being with her people so she doesn't spend too much time outside. She loves her kibble SO much that she considers it treats. She will need a patient family, who can help her see how wonderful the world can be. She truly is a wonderful dog who can become the most perfect dog for the right family.
