We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt.
Required: Physically fenced in yard as he will not yet walk on leash and companion dog in home to help him continue to learn.

Elmer is a French Bulldog born 4/28/21 and weighs in at 36 lbs. Oversized and suspect that is why miller gave him up rather than keeping for breeding. He is a very easygoing boy, not bothered by much. He loves other animals and people. Follows his foster around the house and loves to get the other dogs to play.
He will potty outside but can also be lazy and will use potty pad in home. He is not destructive but is crate trained. His vet care is now completed. He is healthy but does have a knee that can pop out. This is not bothering him at this time but may require surgery in the future or result in arthritis as he ages. Right now you wouldn't know there was a problem with it and is otherwise healthy.
Elmer is a sweetheart but true bulldog and can be on stubborn side when he wants something. His favorite treat is cheese and he gets very excited for it.
He will make someone a wonderful companion but understanding of the breed is helpful. Watching him try to get you or one of the dogs to play is very entertaining, sure to bring a smile to your face.

All our dogs have been treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.
