Ellie the Tri-pawd!'s Story

Ellie is a gorgeous 11 month old female dog. We believe her to be a Malinois or Malinois mix. She currently weighs about 40 pounds. We expect her fill out a little more, but do not expect her to get much larger.

Ellie was abandoned in rural Texas. Either prior to being abandoned or while living on her own her rear leg was severely injured. After being picked up by animal control and being brought to the shelter, she received the amputation she desperately needed. She has now healed, gained weight, and is ready to be adopted!

She gets along well with other dogs and she loves people of all ages. She is high energy- she doesn't let one less leg get her down! She would love an active family who will train her to her full potential!

She is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition.

Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee.

If she does not receive an adoption hold prior to his arrival in WI, she will be available to meet at our upcoming adoption events or by appointment with her foster family.

If you’re not already familiar with our group, please feel free to visit our Group Page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/TxRescueRidersCommunity

If you are serious about this pup, please contact us at DogTrailRides@gmail.com.

We take payments through Zelle, Venmo, or CashApp, or we can take card numbers over the phone and process them through Square.
