ELLIE Chihuahua Cary, NC

ELLIE is 7 yrs old and as sweet as can be. She has not been taken care of and is overweight at 16 lbs . we are trying to help her lose it. she is spayed, vaccinated and chipped. Ellie is dog friendly but more of a solo pup. She is housetrained and very quiet. she will let you know when someone is there or a stranger is nearby.

A delight to have in your home,. She does need a fenced yard so won't wander off. she comes right back inside when done. Loves to hide under her blanket like most chihuahuas. i think that is really sweet. She sleeps all night in her bed.

we are taking our time finding her a home so she can look better. she has gray mottled fur that will be very pretty once she gets into better condition. Ellie also likes her toys. sometimes carries in her mouth to the outside. so funny to see her with a big toy bone! she sways when she walks as if to say HERE I AM!

we don't know how long she was roaming around but was picked up in Brunswick Co near Wilmington . We think she has been lost and was eating anything she could find and some garbage. she has been very neglected but no longer. we love having her here in the rescue. Such a very nice girl. she is very affectionate and loves people.
we did find out she needs throxine every day for her thyroid to fuinction properly. it is a very inexpensive pill . about $8.00 a month. this darling is well worth it. i would give someone a supply for her.
