Ellie Schnauzer & Wirehaired Terrier Mix Berkeley Heights, NJ

Ellie girl! Ellie is a 4-month-old Schnauzer/Wire-haired Terrier mix, she is expected to be a small dog when she is fully grown and currently weighs about 15 pounds. Ellie would like to introduce herself.

“Hello everyone my name is Ellie! I am currently waiting for my forever family. While I wait for my forever family I love to spend my days running in the fenced-in backyard, I have the best zoomies! Well, that's what my foster mommy tells me all the time. I am super cuddly and very loving, I love to shower my foster family in all the kisses! I am a sucker for belly rubs oh my I love them so much! I walk pretty well on a leash and I cannot wait to go on so many adventures with my new family!

While on my walks I love to explore a little bit and discover new things, I am very curious. I absolutely love to play with leaves so much, I love bouncing and zooming through them. I do get a little nervous in new places but within just a few minutes I’m so comfortable. I love other dogs and could play for hours, maybe even days! Of course, after playtime, I always take the best naps. I love to hang out with my foster family on the couch and watch the best T.V. shows. I also think having a kitty friend would be so much fun! All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own.
