We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area.

Ellie is a 2 yr old shepherd mix, in search of a easy going home. Her adoption fee has been lowered as part of her adoption fee has been sponsored. She is smart and loves to show off her ‘sit’ and ‘shake’ for a treat! She is very mellow and does well in the company of a calm dog but doesn't like to share her food or toys so would be best as an only dog to prevent future issues. She would be fine in a home with older children (over 12 yrs of age). She enjoys going for walks and does great on leash.
She would make an amazing companion in a home where she could be queen and not have to share with other dogs. If other dogs are around toys and food must be removed from her area.

All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.
