Ellie American Bulldog & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Lafayette, CA

Sweet girl Ellie was brought to a rural central valley shelter filthy and underweight. Her eyes and ear infected and her spirit broken. She is 50lb, about 2yrs young and appears to be an American bulldog pit mix. She is super loving and sweet. She wants all the attention and will stare at you with sad eyes to get it. She is gentle and likes everyone she has met. She is great with kids and would be a great family addition. She is dog friendly and more submissive. She is doing well on house and crate training so far. She is very food motivated. She needs an active owner who will commit the time, patience and basic training to make her the best dog.

Thank you for reading about our awesome dog. All dogs came to us from different situations and we often do not know much about their past, but they are rescue dogs who deserve a second chance and need patience on their journey. All of our dogs our are in foster homes all across the bay area.

The first step of the process is you must submit an application in order to set up a meet and great or talk with the foster family. Once application is submitted the foster parents will contact you to chat more about the dog and make sure they're a good fit and can answer any further question. The application answers most of all of our questions and can best match you. If you do not get the dog you apply for we can use your same application for 90 days towards another dog in our care and simply forward your app to that foster parent.

All dogs will be fully vetted (Spay/ Neutered, Micro chipped, DHPP and Rabies Vaccinated) and other possible vet care prior to adoption.

The adoption fee is $350, which is considered a non refundable donation
