Ellie Labrador Retriever & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Sagaponack, NY

Ellie is a 4-year old, 52 lb Pit /Lab mix!  She loves people and loves to be near them at all times!!  She loves to give kisses and will get into your personal space if need be to snuggle you!!!  She is great in the car, good on a leash, crate trained, and is good in the house if left alone while you do your errands.  She does not chew any thing she's not supposed to.  She loves her food, treats and toys.  She is good with kids and with male dogs; but does not like cats!  Ellie is spayed, vaccinated, and sleeps quietly through the night with her favorite toy!!

Before we rescued Ellie she lived on a chain her whole life having litter after litter of pups in a crappy wooden doghouse. Her foster mom Alex tells us: “Ellie is the friendliest lab pit mix on the east coast.  She is an extremely sweet and affectionate girl who loves being with people. So her ideal home is with humans who are home a lot. She’s housetrained, walks well on leash and great with all humans. Ellie is just a wonderful dog“

The adoption fee is $500. We require adopters to have a fully fenced backyard. We don’t adopt to homes with invisible or electric fence because it’s not as safe for the dog.
