ElleeMae Dachshund & Terrier Mix Cumming, GA

ElleeMae is a sweet middle-aged lady with the softest fur ever! She just turned 8 years young on August 31st. ElleeMae is house broken and crate trained but can be trusted to roam free. This girl loves to snuggle on the couch and will sleep right next to you at night if given the chance! ElleeMae enjoys going on walks, riding in the car, and loves to play with other dogs. (Not to mention-- cat friendly too!) This little cutie knows several commands including sit, down, over, and shake. ElleeMae can’t wait to meet her forever family! Please consider this sweet, sweet dog.

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
