Hello there! My name is St. Elias (Eli for short) and you need me in your life!!! I am an Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie/American Staffordshire Terrier mixed with a dose of sweetness and an eagerness to please. Mama says I am the bestest boy in the whole world. I currently live in a house with my brother and ten other furries and I love them all! I respect my elders, try to keep up with my brother and play as much as I can with my other foster siblings. I love toys, especially if they bounce or squeak. Food is my favorite thing in the whole world and I will pretty much do anything to get it. Mama bought me a special bowl so I have learned to eat my food much slower. I weigh approximately 15-18 pounds and am starting to fill out a little more, I was pretty skinny when I got here. As you can see I have the prettiest white coat with some cute little black spots throughout, mama puts an orange vest on me when we go walking so she doesn’t lose me in the snow! Just kidding, I was having a hard time adjusting to the cold the first couple of days, you see I came from Kentucky and they brought me to NY; but now I love love love running in the snow.

I sleep very well in my crate at night by myself and I don’t have any accidents during the night. I am doing really well with potty training during the day as I have FINALLY taught foster mom and dad my signals (they are a little slow but I love them anyway). I will work really hard for food so I am already working on sit, down and stay. I still get a bit excited when I hear the treat jar open so I still need to work on patience. I live with a human 3.5 year old and I kind of like her a lot. She rubs my belly and lets me nap with her on the couch so she is all right. I am up for a good long hike, but mama says I do have an off switch and will happily curl up on the sofa with you and watch a good movie. I just like doing what ever you are doing! Mama says I have had all my immunizations and I have a microchip! If you would like to have a sweet adorable dude with deep soulful eyes as part of your family, I am your man!
