Meet Einstein Melon

Einstein Melon is an approximately 7 year old lab mix who just loves life. He is a cuddle bug and would do great with kids of all ages and sizes. He loves other dogs, and frequents the dog park with his foster family. He walks well on a leash. Einstein’s favorite thing in the world is to be with his people. He would do best in a home with a family that spends most of the time with him. He does suffer some separation anxiety, but he is making strides in overcoming it. Einstein is a smart boy, and uses a doggie door to go in and out. He has excellent manners and adapts well to training. He loves his crate with his plush bed. Einstein is a champion car rider. When Einstein was pulled by Snooty Giggles, it was discovered that he at one point had been run over by a car. Thus, he had hip surgery to increase his quality of life. Einstein doesn’t let this get him down and lives a full, normal lab life. He will need to be on anti-inflammatory drugs for the rest of his life to achieve a full quality of life. Einstein loves his medicine and easily takes it every day! Einstein is the bestest boy, and he looks forward to finding his perfect family. Einstein has another 6 weeks of follow up post surgery rehab so we are looking to find him a local adopter that can continue the rehab as a foster to adopt situation. Email us if you have questions about this sweet boy!

Einstein is up to date on shots and preventatives and is microchipped. His adoption fee is $250 plus any additional donation you feel appropriate. Our adoption fee is set to a level to make adoptions happen. They do not cover our costs. Thank you for your generosity and interest in our dogs!

All dogs adopted locally through SGDR receive a free six-week session of obedience classes and a lifetime of behavior support through our Project REWARD program with trainer Charlotte Blake.

You must have an approved application before being able to visit a dog. Visit our website below for an adoption application https://www.snootygiggles.com/dog-application/

If you expect to leave the dog alone for long periods of time, please do not consider adopting a puppy. Puppies need lots of attention and companionship. Thanks.

All known information about the animal is listed above. We do our best to give accurate information, but most of our dogs are rescues and do not come with a known history.
