Adorable one-eyed wonder seeking companion. Creative inventor as namesake suggests. Enjoys the solace of an animal and kid-free home. Likes going outside with his companion and observing leaves, trees, birds, and the like. Gets his creative juices flowing for when he writes his poetry on Saturday afternoons. Would rather spend time with his companion than with people he does not know. Is not completely opposed to meeting a new person. Maybe one new person a week. Likes having a close-knit circle of friends. Speaking of knitting, he enjoys helping pick out knitting patterns for new toys. Toys are a great joy for Edison. Naps and walks too. Finds joy in the little things. Hopes you do too.

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.

Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown.

Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 90-mile radius of Minneapolis; however, we will consider up to 250 miles if the applicant is willing to drive to cities as needed.
