Meet Edison "Eddie" to his friends. This precious little boy is now available for adoption. He is an approximately 6 month old Albino Doberman puppy. He was part of a large scale puppy mill and one of over a hundred Dobermans rescued from this operation. We know he looks irresistible but PLEASE do some research on Albino Dobermans before submitting your application. He will only go to a person who understands his condition and has the resources and intent to cover any future medical issues associated with Albinism. To name one - and one that is almost certain to come up - is keeping a medical eye on his skin. Albinos are very sensitive to sun and can develop problems that can become a larger issue such as melanoma. We originally thought Edison was deaf - but it turns out he is not - he was just not used to a human talking to him. (so sad)
He has been in an excellent foster home and is well socialized with dogs and he has a good relationship with a little girl. Although he is good with children he is growing and he is active like any puppy so a home with toddlers is probably not a good idea. We can't wait to see this sweet boy begin his new life with his forever family.
