Edgar Allan Poe Pit Bull Terrier & Boxer Mix Lexington, MO

Edgar Allan Poe is a pit/boxer type that is around 3 years old and 65 lbs. He is house and crate trained. He gets along with other dogs, but needs a home without cats. He loves people and has never met a stranger. He loves greeting all the people coming in and out of our shop.
He loves to ride in the vehicle. He likes to play with the right play mates and will play for hours, but he also is a couch potato and would prefer a home he can just chill out. He is best behaved if given a daily energy outlet. Even if that means going for a drive or walk. Then he will spend the rest of his day snoozing on the couch. He will sit on his designated piece of furniture by himself, but he will also come and snuggle up and put his head and front feet on you if you give him any indication that you want to snuggle ?. He loves belly rubs and really soaks in the love.
I have him in home with 3 other pit bulls and a Great Dane mix. He plays and runs with the young female pit. He has been around multiple other dogs I've drug in and out of the house for evaluation and has done well with all.
He likes kids he has met, but we are not comfortable about putting him in home with small kids.

He is a pit bull type, so please do not apply if you can't have bully breeds where you live.
He is neutered and up to date on vet care. Including heartworm negative and has had the proheart shot12 that protects him against heartworms for an entire year!
Also microchipped.
