Meet Eden

NOTE: ALL INQUIRIES FOR EDEN SHOULD GO DIRECTLY TO HER RESCUER SUE: Email: suekmwdadoptions@gmail.com. We are posting this as a courtesy listing upon her request and For Animals is not directly involved with this adoption or processing.

You’ll find paradise with Eden, a sweet and playful 6-month-old Jindo/Shiba Inu mIx rescued from Korea.
She currently weighs 18 pounds and will weigh approximately 35 to 40 pounds as an adult. She is 70 percent pee-pad trained and will need to continue crate training. Eden already knows commands for sit and paw. She is fully vaccinated and microchipped.

She will need to be spayed in September, so we will not adopt to any home that lives more than 1 hour from New York City. She would do best with adopters who have dog experience. Eden does well with cats.

Requirements for Eden: A two-person family household.
Home with fenced in yard or apartment with no breed or weight restrictions.
Trainers will be required for puppies.
You must live in the NYC area (LI, Westchester, Brooklyn, Queens,) NJ and CT 30 miles max from NY.
Please do not inquire if you live farther away. Before sending an application, you must first email us at suekmwdadoptions@gmail.com and provide the following information: Your name, where you live, how many people live in your household, and your dog experience. Thank you so much!

Please Note: If you haven’t heard back from us within twelve to fourteen days after your initial e-mail, please be advised that your application is not under consideration. Due to the large volume of applications, emails, texts and calls we receive, we cannot respond to each person individually when an application is not approved. Applications are also processed on a first-come-first-served basis in the order in which they were received, so your patience is appreciated. Thank you for your understanding.
There are no paid employees at Keep Me Warm Doghouses. All the people who help out are a small group of volunteers who do this along with their regular jobs. We try to respond and process as quickly as we can.
While some of our volunteers are engaged in correspondence, answering questions and reference checks, all final decisions regarding the adoption are taken by the shelter founder/director.
