Eddie came to us as his career in the working world wasn't working out as expected. Eddie is pretty desperate to have a human of his own, and is a dog that needs someone that can bring him along gently, but firmly. Eddie has some anxiety, but is beginning to settle into his foster home and as he settles, his anxiety is easing.

Eddie will thrive in a training centered home with another solid dog or two. He will need a reasonable amount of structured activity in order to be happy, and is apparently a great hiking buddy.

Eddie is great with adult humans and dogs, and has not lived with cats.

Dogs that have not lived previously with children will not be offered to homes where young children reside. We do not 'test' dogs with children or cats, since testing may not show an accurate picture, and may give false comfort to their new home. If a dog has lived with children or cats, that will be stated above. We do not place dogs as ESA, nor will we place a dog as hypo-allergenic. Applicants interested in adoption of a potential service dog must be working with an experienced trainer.

Please note that some young dogs may be placed with a neuter deposit and contract, and any available dog may be placed with a training deposit and contract -- this would be noted on offer, prior to placement. For additional information on these policies, please see our website.
