Eddie was found in the Sam Houston National Forest. The finders took him to the vet and were told that he is a minpin. He's a little man with a docked tail and could be a minpin/chi mix.
He required full vetting and is now vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed, neutered, microchipped with lifetime registration to the rescue. He was heartworm positive and went through heartworm treatment and has tested negative and is on monthly heartworm prevention.
He's a happy little man that equally likes to play and snuggle. He would be fine as an only dog or with others. He likes walks, car rides, and is crate trained. But he would be happy just hanging on the sofa as well.

After the application is processed and approved, a home visit and meet and greet with the dogs will be scheduled. If there are any fencing issues, make sure that repairs are done prior to the home visit. Typically, the adoption is finalized the day after the home visit and meet and greet. Out of area adopters would need to drive/fly in to meet the dogs and adopt.
