Eddie Miniature Pinscher & Chihuahua Mix Houston, TX

Eddie was found in the Sam Houston National Forest. The finders took him to the vet and were told that he is a minpin and they contacted me to take him in. He's a little man with a docked tail. But he is not a minpin. He could be a minpin/chi mix.

He needed full vetting including neuter and heartworm treatment etc. He just tested heartworm negative (Jan 2022) with good blood work and is officially ready for adoption.
He's a happy little man that equally likes to play and snuggle. He is good with other dogs as long as introductions are done properly and the other dogs are well tempered. He has a little bit of a "small dog attitude" when it comes to bigger or aggressive males dogs and would be best suited to a more passive small dog that will not try to be dominant over him. He would also be fine as an only dog.
He likes walks and car rides, is crate trained if he needs to be crated. But he would be happy just hanging on the sofa as well.

After the application is processed and approved, a home visit and meet and greet with the dogs will be scheduled. If there are any fencing issues, make sure that repairs are done prior to the home visit. MinPins are natural escape artists! Typically, the adoption is finalized the day after the home visit and meet and greet. Out of area adopters would need to drive/fly in to meet the dogs and adopt.
