Meet Echo
****ADOPTIONS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY AFTER WE RECEIVE AN ADOPTION APPLICATION. threerivershs.org
Echo is truly a mixed breed girl! She looks a bit like a German Shepherd with short legs and a bobbed tail! Echo's DNA could show Heeler, Pitbull-type terrier, or all of the above! She currently weighs about 40 pounds and is about 1 to 1.5 years old. She came to the shelter after having met up with a porcupine. She has since recovered but may still hold a grudge against the prickly pests! She plays well with male dogs but not female dogs. She would NOT be a dog park candidate. Another shelter dog named Daklan is Echo's favorite work-out partner and they enjoy a rough and tumble style of play. Any potential dog roommates should meet here at the shelter before adoption. Echo has done well with kids of all ages but could knock small ones over when she gets excited. She is strong and will need more training on learning not to pull on walks. She can also be reactive to other dogs when on leash. We can help with this but it will definitely be something to consider if you live in an area heavily populated by dogs. No cats for this gal, please.
Her adoption fee of $200 includes her spay, microchip, current vaccines, free vet visit, offer of 30 days of pet health insurance, and engraved ID tag.
