Meet Ebony

Meet Ebony! Ebony had a pretty rough start to life. She was found living in an old SUV in the dead of winter. She was terrified, cold and hungry. She has not had any socialization so everything is new and scary. Ebony has come a long way since she arrived at the shelter, but she is still pretty skittish, and frightened of things. Despite his rough start to life, she is a happy girl! She is friendly, and loves to play. It took awhile for her to even figure out how to play with a toy. Ebony will require a family who can be patient with her and give her the time and space she needs until she feels comfortable. She does not do well with other female dogs, and we aren't sure about male dogs, so we recommend home without any other dogs. She absolutely does NOT like cats. That we know for certain. So she needs to be in a home without cats. We recommend children over 13, as she gets startled easily.

You can visit Ebony at the Euclid Animal Shelter, 25100 Lakeland Blvd., Euclid, OH. He has received his initial set of vaccinations except rabies and will be neutered before leaving the shelter. His adoption fee is $80. All of our dog kennels have indoor/outdoor runs so we cannot say with certainty if any of our dogs are housetrained.

We do not test our animals with other cats or dogs. You are welcome to bring your dog to the shelter for a “Meet and Greet” in one of our outdoor play yards, one of our experienced volunteers will help you.
