Hello, I am Dylan, a charming, 30-pound, senior beagle with the most soulful brown eyes you have ever seen. I love meeting new people. I am a social butterfly, you see. I am not one to bark much. I prefer to express myself through my sweet, friendly nature.

I will occasionally howl if I know you are somewhere I want to be. I am loyal
companion, always ready to give and receive affection.

I am 12 years old going on five! So, do not let my age fool you. I am a happy boy,
which you can tell by my almost constant tail wag. Being around you is one of my
favorite things, so I will never be too far away from you. I will greet you at the door, and have young spurts of energy, galloping through the house. I also appreciate my downtime and am perfectly content to nap at your feet while you work or relax.

I am a low-maintenance kind of guy. I enjoy sitting outside in the sun but also
appreciate the indoors. I like to take short walks on a leash, but you need to not be in a hurry as I like to take my time. I ride well in a car, and love going places.
I get along with other dogs, am house trained, crate trained, and I am learning “sit.” I will also come when you call me. I do not mind baths and am good having my nails trimmed / dremeled.

I do not particularly like loud noises like thunder or booming noises on the television. I do not have many teeth, so my food and treats need to be soft. In fact, I recently had dental work. But that does not slow me down. Oh, did I say, I love to eat!! Food is a major motivator for me, so keep the soft treats handy.

I am neutered, and up to date on my vaccinations. I may be in my golden years, but I have a lot of love left to give. Adopting me means gaining a friend who will be by your side, making you smile every day.

I am ready to find my forever home where I can share my big heart and bring endless joy.
