D’Yer Mak’er is a very sweet, very smart girl —- but she’s only been an “inside dog” for a week, and is working on her house manners. Much of what she’s learned, she picked up from mimicking our dog —- potty training, ringing the doggy doorbell to go outside, leash walking, sitting, etc. She loves to play with our dog (5YO Pyr) and they play pretty hard — wrestling in the backyard. She is definitely going to do her best with another active dog in the home.

D'yer Mak'er is the kind of puppy that you will want to stick around forever. She is sweet, she is loving, she is playful, and she is taking all the changes in her life in stride! This 5-month-old girl is already 51lbs so whoeever adopts her better be prepared for a 100lb+ fluffball....and lapdog ?D’Yer Mak’er is quite the playful gir and loves playing with the other dogs, playing with toys, playing in the backyard, and is always up for an adventure!

You may remember this girl as one of five puppies who were in a small enclosure with mud and concrete. It is hard to believe that she used to be one of those dirty(and super stinky) pups! You would never know that she used to be an outside-only dog! She is young so is still learning the ropes and how things work, but she is adjusting amazingly well. D’Yer Mak’er is good with other dogs and is VERY playful with them. Another playful big dog that can keep up with her is a must in her new home. She is being fostered around cats and doesn't really pay them any mind. She is good with kids, but she is a very playful pup so would do best with older kids.

D’Yer Mak’er is not a fan of the car, but in her defense, she only recently rode in one for the first time. She does need help getting in, and does get car sick. That may change as she gets older, but that is something her new family needs to be okay with working through. D’Yer Mak’er does like going places and did well at the vet and the office when her foster took her to work with her. She definitely enjoys going places and getting to meet new people. She goes on walks twice a day and does well, but is still learning what the leash is all about. She has never met a stranger and is eager to befriend new people. Given her energy level, we do believe that D’Yer Mak’er would enjoy going on hikes and adventures with her new family.

D’Yer Mak’er is potty trained but not kennel trained. She is given free roam of the house when her foster family is away and does well. She is very curious about things and is definitely in her teething stage. Her new family will need to have things puppy-proofed and lots of chew toys available for her. So far, she has not been a big barker in her foster home. D’Yer Mak’er is too energetic for apartment living. She loves getting to ropm around with the other dogs outside and sunbathing.

Please we are begging you though, only apply to adopt D’Yer Mak’er if you can keep her forever. If you can't keep D’Yer Mak’er through ALL of life's changes, don't be the one that makes her have to be passed around yet again a few months/years down the line.
