Meet Dutch
***ADOPTER or FOSTER or FINANCIAL SPONSOR NEEDED ASAP - needs rescue by THURSDAY, 10/8 ?***
*Extended until Monday 10/19 at 2:00 PM - PLEASE HELP*
Meet adorable Dutch. Dutch is around 5 years-old and was dumped by his “family” on 8/20/2020. It was clear upon intake that Dutch was fearful and had little to no training. The shelter believes that he was left in the backyard on his own for a significant part of his life, likely as he came out of puppyhood and became difficult for the family to handle. So rather than work with him, they let his fear and uncertainty around new people get worse until they decided to abandon him. Dutch shouldn’t have to die because his former family failed him. Please help us get him out!
Dutch has been selective with people since arriving at the shelter and will require a dog-savvy family who will be patient with him as he learns to trust again. He’ll also need training and appropriate socialization, so for now, he needs a home without other animals or young children. This is Dutch’s last chance. Please help us give him the life that he very much deserves.
Please help us get sweet Dutch into a safe, loving forever home! If you're unable to help by adopting, sharing this post or donating is always appreciated. Don't forget, Passion for Pitties is a 501(c)(3), so all donations are tax-deductible!…every little bit helps!
If you would like to adopt loving Dutch, please fill out an application at www.passionforpitties.com under the “Adorable Adoptables” heading.
