Meet Paddy! 2y, Cairn Terrier X, 14 lbs, NM+shots+chip+crate-trained at night, Sweet Pup
Hello! My name is Paddy (luck of the Irish!) and I am the most adorable, smart, playful dog around!
Quick Facts:
o Breed: Cairn Terrier blend
o Gender: Neutered Male
o Age: apx 2 yr old puppy
o Size: 12 lbs
o Good with…
o Dogs? Yes! Like-sized and gentle canine friends are fun to play with!
o Cats? Not sure
o Kids? 12+ years
History
The only family I had ever had as a puppy dumped me at a local shelter during the holidays saying they were moving to a place that didn’t allow pets.
Personality
I’m super affectionate! I love to lay my head on your lap, give kisses, and snuggle next to you on the couch when allowed.
I’m really smart and with some patience and treats for rewards, I would love to learn as much as I can and as many commands as you’d like to teach me.
I enjoy hanging out in my bed and snuggling up next to you while you watch TV or read.
Cohabitation
I get along great with gentle people, older/teenage kids, sweet and playful dogs and am not sure about non-canines.
Favorite Activities
- Walks
- Cuddling
- Treat time
- Learning new things
- Going on adventures in the car as a co-pilot.
Why I am looking for a new home
My family dumped me (and my twin sibling Ian who has already been adopted) at a local shelter. It was cold and damp there, we were scared. Thank goodness Ken-Mar Rescue came to get us and give us a second chance.
Medical
Private vet has given me a clear bill of health. I am current on all shots, neutered, microchipped and come with all supporting documentation upon adoption.
Summary
Paddy needs a house full of soft beds, people who like snuggles and yummy treats. Siblings can be adopted independently or together.
If you can give them a home with a secured yard, playtime with you, keep their minds stimulated by teaching them new things and incorporating them into your daily routine, including two walks a day, then you can give them a miracle.
Adults only HOMEOWNERS preferred (gentle older teens ok) with secured yard in the So Cal area please.
