Meet Duke Ellington
Duke was picked up as a stray at a high-kill shelter. He was such a staff favorite, they said they couldn't bear to see him put down.
Duke is @1-2 years old and 45 lbs. When he first arrived, his eyes were irritated but they are clearing up nicely. He is happy, friendly and gets along well with everyone.
He is up to date on vaccines.

Duke is a young Fox Hound mix with medium energy. He's just as happy snuggling on the couch as he is going for walks. He loves everyone he meets, be they dogs or people and keeps a respectful distance from cats. Duke would thrive in a home with another dog, or by himself, and a backyard. He is eager to please, a quick learner, and could use a refresher on leash edicate and manners. He sees the world with fresh eyes of positivity and goodness.
