He is in a foster home in SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS and is able to transport to a city listed on Petfinder once approved. Please note our process starts with an application. If we think you might be a good fit, we will reach out to coordinate a phone interview. This is followed by a video call with the foster home. Virtual home visit, personal and vet reference checks are required to complete the process. Transport is included in our adoption donation. <br/><br/>Meet Duke — a long-legged, lively pup who was rescued from a shelter in San Antonio, Texas!<br/><br/>Duke is full of puppy energy and curiosity. He loves to run, explore, and play with other dogs. Those legs of his don’t just make him handsome — they give him an extra boost when he jumps (and he knows it!). He’s still working through some typical puppy nippiness, but he’s eager to learn and respond to guidance.<br/><br/>Duke is house and crate trained and currently weighs about 32 pounds, with some growing left to do. We expect him to remain a medium-sized dog when full grown.<br/><br/>We don’t have any history with cats or children, so proper introductions and supervision would be important if his future home includes either.<br/><br/>Because Duke is still under a year old, he’ll thrive in a home where someone is around more often than not.
