Duke American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Murrieta, CA

Duke is 3 years old and weighs about 50 lbs. This sensitive and sweet boy is a little timid and reserved at first but given some time to decompress and get to know you, and he's your #1 best friend in no time. This boy loves his humans to the moon and back and devotes his entire heart and soul to you. Duke will follow you around like a shadow when you're home and when you've left for work, he celebrates every arrival home with the best wiggle butt you'd ever seen. Duke loves to play and go for walks. He's strong though and will need an equally strong handler. Dog experience is preferred. Duke gets along with some but definitely does not enjoy going to dog parks or heavily dog social areas. He prefers hanging out with human family instead. He has been introduced to a cat before and showed little to no interest. So there is a possibility he can be placed in a home with a cat. Duke is alert and will bark at strangers coming near his home. Duke THRIVES on structure and boundaries and is always waiting to listen for your commands so he can be a good boy. At night, he also loves to sleep in bed with you if you let him but will also sleep in his dog bed or crate. Duke is definitely going to make a family so lucky as he has so much love and companionship ready to spoil you with.
