AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! Duke is a two year old, lab mix, looking for his forever home (still)! He has been in our care since September of 2020, and while we love having him around, he deserves the world. Duke is very, very affectionate and, at times, thinks he is a lap dog. He is all about belly rubs and also knows how to slow dance! Duke does well with other dogs, but gets too excited around cats for us to be comfortable. He is also not a fan of livestock. Duke has been with us for so long that he can be a little standoffish when meeting new people, but warms up quick and will steal your heart shortly after. Duke has a winning smile and an even better personality; playful, loving and eager to please. Duke will make a wonderful hiking buddy in his new family, but will also enjoy a nice relaxing day on the couch. He loves stuffed animals and playing catch (we're still working on fetch). We cannot believe that he has been in our care for this long and we are certain he will make a wonderful addition to the right home.
