Meet Dug!
Dug’s life motto is “I have just met you, and I love you”
Dug is a true yellow Labrador retriever. At 8 months old this boy is weighing in at about 55 pounds and will only get bigger. He will be a big adult dog with yellow lab energy.
Dug is the definition of a yellow lab, he loves everyone but has energy to burn! He is friendly, outgoing, and high-spirited. He loves all the attention and affection he can get. He wants to cuddle on the couch and go places with you, he is still getting used to car rides but adjusting quickly.
Dug loves other dogs and would hope his forever family has a furry brother or sister waiting to play with him. One of his favorite pastimes is playing and rolling in the mud! While labs are notorious water dogs we are not sure if Dug likes clean water (pools, lakes, etc) but we know for sure he likes his mud puddles!
Dug is an outgoing ball of energy who needs to continue his basic training, while he is house trained he is still learning and sometimes has accidents. He is crate trained and loves his kennel but LOVES to be out playing with his people and friends.
?Dug needs a home with a yard, he wants to run and he wants to play. He is learning fetch but right now he enjoys playing tag where we chase him around and play tug-o-war.
Dug doesn’t have a mean bone in his goofy body but he is big and if there are children in his home must be 9+ years old and dog savvy. Dug is good with all dogs (all sizes) and cats!
Dug is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, parasite treated, on flea and tick prevention, on heartworm prevention, crate trained, working on house training (very close), working on basic commands, working on leash manners and more!
