Dude is a 1 year old lab mix. He weighs 60 pounds.

Dude came into rescue as a stray. He is in a foster home in the South, so not available to meet in person at this time. Dude is very friendly and snuggly dog. He gets along great with dogs and cats. He loves to play with toys and go for car rides. Dude has been living in a home with a 9 year old. His foster mom is home during the day, and has not been using a crate. Dude is housebroken and likes to go for walks.

Please complete an online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process. Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to do their business outdoors. Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up. If you are approved to adopt, please submit the $100 deposit by clicking on our rescue's name in this posting (Forever Home Rescue New England--in purple) which will bring you to a new page with the deposit link at the bottom.
