Duchess is a confident, super sweet dog who is very friendly and sociable. She has just enough spunk in her to act goofy, and loves to spin in circles when she is excited! She is very cute with her medium body on those sturdy little legs! With fewer treats being given than in her previous home, her goal...like many of us, is to lose 5 lbs.

Duchess gets along very well with other dogs! She is respectful during introductions and enjoys playing with new canine friends. She will often initiate play. Duchess also gets along well with cats, usually just ignoring them.

Duchess enjoys being with her people and follows them wherever they go! She is content to sit quietly but is also ready for walks and playtime. She is still a bit nervous in the car but is soon calm and sits quietly just taking in the scenery.

The best home for Duchess would be one where there is another dog for her to play with. She enjoys company and will whine when left alone. She needs a canine friend or a family that is often home. A fenced in yard is a must as Duchess enjoys outside time. She loves to explore the yard for hours!
