Meet Drako, a 40-pound spitfire with a playful spirit and a deep love for cuddling and blankies. He is super intelligent, and has been working hard on learning new commands every chance we get. Drako is fully house trained, and has crate training as well. He has mastered the art of sit and paw, and loves to show it off! He’s been practicing his leash walking and heeling, but he’s a very curious kid who might need to be redirected a few times while out on a walk. His recall is really great, though, and he really loves a good adventure.

Drako really loves to be outside and playing with toys. He is a professional fetch player, and absolutely loves to be the center of attention. He would really thrive in an active home with a fenced-in yard to let his zoomies out. Drako likes children, and I believe he would love a family to keep him busy.

Drako really is a happy young man with plenty of personality. He is protective of the people that he loves, but will easily welcome new friends into his circle. He plays really well with other dogs, and does have daycare experience. He has two foster siblings at the moment, and he is always willing to share his toys with them. Drako also has experience with cats, and enjoys following them around!

Drako really deserves a forever family who will love him for all of his little quirks. He is a loyal, fun pup who will love you just as deeply as you love him. If you're looking for a friend who will have your back, cuddle with you in your blankets, travel and adventure with you, and always be happy to see you when you walk through the door, then I truly believe Drako is the dog you’re looking for.
Drako will turn one on 11/6/23 - he would love nothing more to be in his Furever home to celebrate his 1st birthday with his new family!

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs.

All our dogs have been treated with dewormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption.

We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
