Draco's Story

Draco is a loving and playful pitbull with a forever "surprised" look due to a permanently dislocated jaw. His jaw does not cause him and pain or problems and the vet has recommended that we not try to repair it, as it is a very old injury and would cause a lot of pain to repair. So, as long as he is happy, pain free, and able to eat, it's best left along. Draco has no problem eating (as you can tell) and he seems quite comfortable. <br/>Draco is generally not good with other animals. He can live with female dogs but is selective. We would not recommend leaving him unattended with another dog. He cannot be allowed off leash outside of a secure fence as he will go after other animals. He is very cat aggressive and will obsess over any other animals such as goats, chickens, horses, etc. This is why he has been in our program so long. It is very hard to find a home with NO other animals that will take on an adult pitbull. If you have a heart for the bullies, please give Draco a chance. He is such a lover, clean, crate and potty trained.
