Draco Weimaraner & American Bully Mix South Windsor, CT

Hi my name is Draco! I have been a long time member with ASCZ. I am a BIG GOOF. I am about 65 lbs and about 1.5 to 2 years old. I was pulled from a high-kill shelter in Texas. After that it was discovered I had elbow displaysia in both elbows. I had to undergo surgery to correct my stance and of course allow me to live a fuller and pain-free life. Who knows why I had this issue? Maybe I was kept in a crate constantly? Maybe its genes perhaps due to overbreeding or other factors? Either way, I was not one that was supposed to "get out." Now I can romp around with my dog friends pain-free and easily! I will need to be on a joint supplement (like a lot of large dogs) to help with oncoming arthritis. Now that we got that out of the way - here is the fun stuff. I am a joy - I love balls, toys, romping, running and cuddling. I am good friends with the other dogs in my home. I am still young and act like a big puppy sometimes. I can also be vocal and talk to you when I want something. I am smart and curious and have a huge heart! I really am a big lug that wants a comfy bed, some toys, lots of yummy food and my people! I haven't met a person I haven't loved yet. Kids 10 and up would be great because I am big and strong and can be jumpy! Cats - no problem - at first I was curious, but now I am just fine!
