Meet Dozer! A Shepherd mix seeking a patient, loving human with a strong throwing arm and a good sense of humor. ???
Dozer is a large breed mix with a heart of gold, but he takes his role as a protector seriously. He's looking for an experienced dog owner who understands his breed and can provide the structure and guidance he needs to thrive. It might take a few dates before he lets you pet him without suspicion, but once you're in, you're in. He's a big softie underneath all that "don't mess with me" fur. He's also previously lived with a small dog, so if you have a tiny canine overlord already ruling your roost, Dozer might be the perfect bodyguard.
He can be a bit reactive with men, but we're working with him on creating positive associations. We're always looking for volunteers to help socialize our shelter animals – if you're interested, please reach out!
