Meet Dozer
You may recognize Dozer. He was a staff and volunteer favorite, he waited nearly four months to find his perfect home, but he was returned due to his loving and amazing owner sadly passing away.
We learned so much from Dozer's time with his previous owner. We learned that Dozer is amazing with seniors in wheelchairs. He walks right next to them and is beyond respectful!
Another wonderful thing about Dozer is that he loves walks but he loves to snuggle and relax! He encourages you to get outside for some exercise and a walk and after his daily stroll, he likes to chill and is a low-maintenance boy.
He is truly the most well-behaved boy in his home! Dozer hardly ever had an accident! He is crate-trained and knows how to sit, lay down, speak, and "go to your bed", and how to walk politely on a leash. His manners are nearly perfect!
Dozer loves anything water related - sprinklers, going to the beach, walking in a river, chilling in a pool, etc!
He doesn't mind other pups on walks and does pretty great at listening to you and ignoring them. In the home, he will do best as the only furbaby. Dozer is very respectful of children, actually, but he is a little too protective of them if they rough-house, so he'll need no younger kiddos. Teenagers and older, who are also easy-going, could be fun company for him!
Dozer believes he is a lap dog. He will lay right on you and next to you, if allowed! Can't ever be too close for cuddling in his mind! He loves to snooze on the couch!
He loves treats and soft blankets. Chewy, squeaky toys are also fantastic in his mind!
Dozer brought so much love, happiness and companionship to his previous owner. We know he will do the same for the next family that sees how incredible he is.
