Dozer's Story

Meet Dozer!

Dozer's journey started with a bit of heartbreak. He and his friend Milo were surrendered together to a high euthanasia shelter in West Texas. Thankfully, both were moved to Saving Grace. Dozer enjoyed Milo's company and does well with other compatible dogs. He has been a little down since Milo's adoption and enjoys going on walks with other Saving Grace friends.

This handsome boy is friendly and absolutely loves to receive attention! His sweet and affectionate nature always shines through.

Dozer is a wonderful companion and has been doing training for his loose leash walking. He'll be strutting his stuff like a pro in no time! This is a great opportunity to bond with him and help him become the best dog he can be.

He prefers to sit on the couch for some one-on-one time at the rescue. He loves all toys and his soft bed!

Dozer is looking for a loving home where he can feel safe, cherished, and receive the affection he so deserves. Could you be the one to give this sweet boy the second chance he's been waiting for? Saving Grace Rescue LBK's Adoption Policy
Our adoption fee is $225 (locally). This fee goes toward the cost of our vetting expenses for the dog, which includes the dog being spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. We require an application and home visit for adoption of one of our dogs. We want to ensure our dogs are placed in forever homes and are not in a situation that would be unsafe for the dog or perpetuate the misconceptions surrounding Pit Bulls. We prefer that adopters be at least 21 years old, but we will consider applicants under 21 on a case by case basis - so please still fill out an application. Please keep in mind that we know our dogs well; behavior, temperament, special needs, etc. Any decisions we make are in trying to do what's best for our dogs and the homes that we adopt them into. **If you are adopting out of state and we are sending a dog for adoption through our partner, Project Freedom Ride, the adoption fee is $500 which covers all vetting requirements and transport costs.**
